Brad Silberling is an American film and television director. Born Bradley Mitchell Silberling on 8 September 1963 in Washington, D.C., he studied English at the University of California, Santa Barbara and film production at UCLA.

He began his career as a production assistant before directing television episodes for series including *L.A. Law*, *Doogie Howser, M.D.* and *NYPD Blue* (1993). His feature film credits include *Casper* (1995), *City of Angels* (1998), *Moonlight Mile* (2002, also writer and producer), *Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events* (2004) and *Land of the Lost* (2009). He has also directed and executive produced episodes of *Reign*, *Jane the Virgin*, *Dynasty* and *Charmed*.

Silberling married actress Amy Brenneman in 1995 after meeting her on the set of *NYPD Blue*.
