## Biography

Bragi F. Schut is an American screenwriter, producer and director. He is credited as Bragi Schut Jr. on some projects.

Schut wrote the screenplay and story for the 2023 horror film *The Last Voyage of the Demeter*, directed by André Øvredal and based on a chapter from Bram Stoker's *Dracula*. His other film writing credits include *Escape Room* (2019), *Samaritan* (2022) and *Season of the Witch* (2011). He has also written for the television series *Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu* (2011–2022) and created the series *Threshold* (2005).

Schut began his career in Hollywood working in a model shop, where an encounter with miniatures from *Bram Stoker's Dracula* (1992) inspired the *Demeter* project, which spent over two decades in development.
