Brendan Maher is an Australian television director. He has directed episodes of numerous Australian series since the 1980s, including *Five Mile Creek*, *The Flying Doctors*, *The Secret Life of Us* and *Tomorrow, When the War Began* (2016).

His British and international credits include episodes of *Spooks* (2002), *Silent Witness*, *Upstairs Downstairs* (2010), *Spartacus* (2010), *Outlander* (2014) and *Strike Back*, as well as the miniseries *The Passing Bells* (2014) for the BBC.

Maher won AFI awards for Best Director for the telemovies *The Road from Coorain* (2002) and *After the Deluge* (2003), and an Australian Directors Guild Award for *Dirt Game* (2009).
