Brian Davies is a Welsh actor born on 15 November 1938 in Rhondda Valley. He began his career on stage, appearing in the original Broadway production of the musical *The Sound of Music* (1959) as Rolf Gruber.

Davies has worked in film and television since the 1960s. His credits include roles in *The Bedford Incident* (1965), *Convoy* (1978) as Chuck Arnoldi, *American Gigolo* (1980) as Charles Stratton, *The Age of Innocence* (1993) as Philip, and *Mickey Blue Eyes* (1999) as a priest. He has also appeared in episodes of *Law & Order* and daytime soap operas such as *All My Children*.

He has been married to actress Erika Slezak since 1978 and is the son-in-law of actor Walter Slezak.
