## Biography

Brian Dietzen is an American actor and screenwriter. He trained at the University of Colorado at Boulder, where he earned a BFA in acting, and performed with the Colorado Shakespeare Festival.

He is known for his role as Dr Jimmy Palmer on the series *NCIS* (2003), which he joined as a recurring character in 2004 before becoming a series regular from the tenth season in 2012. Dietzen has also written episodes of the series and appeared as the character in *NCIS: New Orleans* (2014) and *NCIS: Hawaiʻi* (2021). Earlier credits include *My Guide to Becoming a Rock Star* (2002) and the film *From Justin to Kelly* (2003).
