## Biography

Brian Jarvis is a former American police detective. He served as a sergeant and detective with the Marion County Sheriff's Office in Florida, where he worked on the investigation into serial killer Aileen Wuornos.

He appears as himself in Nick Broomfield's documentaries *Aileen Wuornos: The Selling of a Serial Killer* (1992) and *Aileen: Life and Death of a Serial Killer* (2003). Jarvis has also featured in other true crime television series and podcasts discussing the case. He later served as Chief of Police for the Town of Chester, New York.
