## Biography

Brian Johnson is a film and television editor. His credits include editing the 1999 documentary *Buena Vista Social Club*, directed by Wim Wenders.

Earlier in his career he worked as first assistant editor on *Lost Highway* (1997) and assistant editor on *Street Fighter* (1994), as well as in the editorial department on *Mulholland Drive* (2001). He has also edited documentaries and series such as *He Named Me Malala* (2015) and *Legacy: The True Story of the LA Lakers* (2022).

Johnson has received nominations from the American Cinema Editors for *Buena Vista Social Club* and a Primetime Emmy nomination for *He Named Me Malala*.
