## Biography

Brian L. Chambers was an American film and television editor, producer and post-production executive. He worked as an editor on series including *NYPD Blue* (1993), *Sliders* (1995), *M.A.N.T.I.S.* (1994–1995), *American Gothic* (1995), *Judging Amy* (2000–2002) and *Get Real* (1999–2000). Earlier in his career he served in the editorial department on features such as *My Stepmother Is an Alien* (1988), *Frankie and Johnny* (1991) and *Lethal Weapon 3* (1992).

Chambers later became director of post-production at 20th Century Fox Television, overseeing post-production on series including *Bones* and *Modern Family*. He taught editing at the American Film Institute for nearly a decade. He was the son of television producer and writer Ernest Chambers.
