## Biography

Brian Reich was an American comedy writer and producer. He studied economics at Harvard University, where he was an editor of the Harvard Lampoon, and began his career as a writer on Late Night with David Letterman.

Reich wrote for Late Night with Conan O’Brien from 1994 to 1999, contributing to sketches including the characters Masturbating Bear and Pimpbot 5000. He later worked as a writer and producer on Just Shoot Me! (1999–2002) and Brooklyn Nine-Nine (2014–2015), for which he received Emmy nominations. His other credits include Who Is America? (2018), Eagleheart, Nathan for You, Triumph’s Election Watch 2016 and Let’s Be Real.

Reich died on 12 September 2022 in Venice, Los Angeles.
