Brian Tee is a Japanese-born American actor. Born Jae-Beom Takata on 15 March 1977 in Okinawa, Japan, he moved with his family to California at the age of two and later graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with a degree in theatre and performing arts.

He is known for his role as Dr Ethan Choi in the NBC series *Chicago Med* (2015–2022) and for film roles including D.K. in *The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift* (2006), Noburo Mori in *The Wolverine* (2013), Hamada in *Jurassic World* (2015) and Shredder in *Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows* (2016). He played SAIC Ken Cho in the 2025 film *A House of Dynamite*.
