Brian West is a British cinematographer. Born in London in 1928, he began his career in the British film industry as a camera assistant at Shepperton Studios and later worked as a camera operator under cinematographers including Oswald Morris.

His other credits as cinematographer include *84 Charing Cross Road* (1987) and *Jacknife* (1989), while earlier roles included camera operator on films such as *The Guns of Navarone* (1961), *The Spy Who Came in from the Cold* (1965) and *Hatari!* (1962). He also worked as second unit director of photography on *Spies Like Us* (1985).
