Brian Young is a television writer and producer. He began working on *The Vampire Diaries* (2009) as a staff writer and story editor, later serving as supervising producer and co-executive producer on the series.

Young was showrunner and executive producer on *Fate: The Winx Saga* (2021), for which he also received teleplay and series creator credits. He has an earlier writing credit on *Kyle XY* (2006). He is a longtime friend of writer and producer Greg Berlanti.
