## Biography

Brien Varady is an American actor. A native of Los Angeles, he began his career in the 1970s with television commercials and a role in the mini-series *Captains and the Kings* (1976). He studied acting with Kim Stanley and was mentored by Michael Lerner. He was a founding member of Young Artists United.

Varady is known for his role as Chris in John Dahl's *The Last Seduction* (1994). He later worked again with Dahl in an uncredited role in *Joy Ride* (2001). Other credits include *Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman* (1993), *Breathless* (1983), *Stir Crazy* (1980) and *Lamb to the Slaughter* (2002). He also produced and appeared in *Naked in the Cold Sun* (1997). In 1983 he won Best Actor at the West Coast One-Act Festival for "After Life".
