## Biography

Brock Norman Brock is a British screenwriter and playwright. Early in his career, his play *Here is Monster* was nominated for the Verity Bargate Award; the premiere production in 1990–91 was staged by the Show of Strength Theatre Company and directed by Mark Ravenhill.

He co-wrote the screenplay for *Bronson* (2008) with Nicolas Winding Refn. He has since co-written the screenplays for *Yardie* (2018) and *The Mustang* (2019). Earlier, he worked as a production executive at the UK Film Council on films including *The Constant Gardener* (2005), *The Proposition* (2005), *Gosford Park* (2001) and *Vera Drake* (2004). He is a member of the Honourable Artillery Company.
