Bruce Lester (born Bruce Somerset Lister) was a South African-born English actor. He appeared in over 60 films between 1934 and 1958, initially in British quota quickies billed as Bruce Lister before moving to Hollywood and adopting the surname Lester.

Educated at Brighton College in Sussex, he began his career on the London stage. His film roles included Mr Bingley in *Pride and Prejudice* (1940) and John Withers in *The Letter* (1940). He later worked as a story analyst for Columbia and Paramount studios.
