## Biography

Bruce McCulloch is a Canadian actor, comedian, writer and director. He is a member of the comedy troupe The Kids in the Hall and appeared in the group's sketch series (1988–1995) and the film *Kids in the Hall: Brain Candy* (1996). He began performing at the Loose Moose Theatre in Calgary and later moved to Toronto, where the troupe formed.

McCulloch wrote for *Saturday Night Live* and has directed episodes of television series including *Brooklyn Nine-Nine*, *Trailer Park Boys* and *Schitt's Creek* (2018). His feature films as director include *Dog Park* (1998), *Superstar* (1999), *Stealing Harvard* (2002) and *Comeback Season* (2006). He created the ABC sitcom *Carpoolers* (2007–2008).
