## Biography

Bruce Zimmerman (born 11 June 1952) is an American novelist, screenwriter and television producer. Born in Sacramento, California, he began his writing career while living in San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato, Mexico.

He published four suspense novels featuring the character Quinn Parker: *Blood Under the Bridge* (1989), *Thicker Than Water* (1991), *Full-Bodied Red* (1993) and *Crimson Green* (1994). His television credits include writing episodes of *First Wave* (1998), *Desperate Housewives* (2006), *CSI: NY* (2004) and *Criminal Minds* (from 2011), on which he later served as co-executive producer. He has also written made-for-television films, including the two *Inspectors* movies for Showtime.
