## Biography

Bud Molin was an American film and television editor. Born Henry David Molin in Los Angeles on 26 May 1925, he served in the US Army during the Second World War before beginning his career at the Columbia Pictures film library. He later worked as an assistant editor and then editor at Desilu, contributing to series including *I Love Lucy* and *The Dick Van Dyke Show*.

Molin edited numerous feature films, often collaborating with director Carl Reiner. His credits include *Oh, God!* (1977), *The Jerk* (1979), *Dead Men Don't Wear Plaid* (1982), *All of Me* (1984) and *Fatal Instinct* (1993). He also directed episodes of television series such as *Good Heavens* and served as second-unit director on *Up the Academy* (1980). Molin died on 21 May 2007 in Rancho Mirage, California.
