Burr Gore Steers (born 8 October 1965) is an American actor, screenwriter and director. He was born in Washington, D.C., and attended New York University after earlier schooling at St. Albans School, Hotchkiss School and Culver Military Academy.

Steers began his career with small acting roles, including in *Pulp Fiction* (1994). He made his feature debut as writer and director with *Igby Goes Down* (2002). He also wrote the screenplay for *How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days* (2003) and has directed episodes of television series including *Weeds* (2005), *The L Word* (2005) and *Big Love* (2007). His other directorial credits include *17 Again* (2009), *Charlie St. Cloud* (2010) and *Pride and Prejudice and Zombies* (2016). He is a nephew of the writer Gore Vidal.
