Burt Styler was an American television and film screenwriter and producer. Born in New York City, he began his career in the late 1940s and remained active until 1989. He wrote for numerous sitcoms and variety series, including *Gilligan's Island*, *My Favorite Martian*, *The Brady Bunch*, *The Carol Burnett Show* and *Chico and the Man*.

Styler contributed two episodes to the first season of *M*A*S*H* in 1972. He wrote or co-wrote four episodes of *All in the Family* between 1971 and 1972, winning a Primetime Emmy Award in 1972 for the teleplay of 'Edith's Problem'. He also collaborated on several Bob Hope films, including *Boy, Did I Get a Wrong Number!* (1966), and later worked with his wife Adele Styler on series such as *The Brady Bunch* and *Too Close for Comfort*.
