Caetano Veloso is a Brazilian singer, composer, guitarist and actor. Born in Santo Amaro on 7 August 1942, he first became known through his involvement in the Tropicalismo movement of the 1960s.

He is credited as the Singer at Party in Pedro Almodóvar's *Talk to Her* (2002), performing "Cucurrucucú Paloma". Other film credits include a role as Cantor in *Orfeu* (1999). Veloso has also appeared as himself in documentaries and television programmes.
