## Biography

Cameron Welsh is an Australian writer, producer and director. He began his career as an actor, playing Mitch McColl in the soap opera *Home and Away* from 1999 to 2005, and later served as series producer on the show from 2007 to 2012. He also directed episodes of *Home and Away* and other Australian series including *All Saints* and *Blue Heelers*.

After leaving *Home and Away*, Welsh worked in American television as a writer and producer. His credits include writing episodes of *The Last Ship* (2014), *Constantine* (2014–2015), *Ash vs Evil Dead* (2016) and *Krypton* (2018–2019), where he also served as showrunner and executive producer. He has produced further series such as *Foundation* (2021) and *Nautilus* (2024).
