## Biography

Camilla Blackett is a British television writer. A native of Reading, Berkshire, she began her career at the age of 18 as a writer on the first two seasons of the E4 series *Skins* (2007).

After working in London and New York, she relocated to Los Angeles. There she joined the writing staff of Aaron Sorkin’s HBO series *The Newsroom* (2013) as a staff writer on season two, before serving as a staff writer on season three of the Fox comedy *New Girl* (2013–2014).

She later worked on the ABC series *Fresh Off the Boat* (2015–2017) as a writer and executive story editor. Blackett has continued to develop projects for film and television.
