## Biography

Cao Juiping, also credited as Jiuping Cao, Juiping Cao or Cao Jiu-Ping, is a Chinese production designer and art director. He has worked extensively with director Zhang Yimou on films including *Ju Dou* (1990), *Raise the Red Lantern* (1991), *The Story of Qiu Ju* (1992), *To Live* (1994), *Shanghai Triad* (1995), *Not One Less* (1999) and *The Road Home* (1999).

He served as art director on *Kill Bill: Vol. 1* (2003) and production designer on *Kill Bill: Vol. 2* (2004). His other credits include *Balzac and the Little Chinese Seamstress* (2002), *The Sun Also Rises* (2007) and *Forever Young* (2018).
