Cara DiPaolo is an American television writer and producer. She began her career in production roles before moving into writing and producing on series including *Men in Trees* (2006–2008), *Ugly Betty* (2008–2010) and *The Big C* (2010–2013).

Her writing credits include episodes of *About a Boy* (2014), *One Mississippi* (2016–2017), *Casual* (2018), *Dead to Me* (2020–2022), *Angelyne* (2022) and *No Good Deed* (2024). She has also held producing positions such as supervising producer on *About a Boy* and co-executive producer on *Dead to Me*, *Casual* and *One Mississippi*. DiPaolo received a Primetime Emmy nomination for her work on *Dead to Me*.
