Carey Wilson was an American screenwriter, producer and voice actor. Born on 19 May 1889 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, he died on 1 February 1962 in Hollywood, California.

His screenplays include *Ben-Hur: A Tale of the Christ* (1925), *Mutiny on the Bounty* (1935) and *The Great Heart* (1938). As a producer his credits include *Green Dolphin Street* (1947). He also narrated nuclear test films for the Atomic Energy Commission and the Department of Defense.

Wilson was one of the thirty-six founders of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences in 1927. He has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame at 6301 Hollywood Boulevard.
