## Biography

Carl W. Lucas is a screenwriter, producer and director. He completed his first screenplay in 2002 and was a top 100 finalist in the HBO series Project Greenlight with his second. In 2009 he founded EchoWolf Productions and produced his first feature, *Don't Blink* (2014).

Lucas has written and produced several independent films. His credits include writing and producing *The Wave* (2019) and writing and executive producing *The Old Way* (2023). He also produced *Fender Bender* (2016), *My Name Is Myeisha* (2018) and *The Rambler* (2013), the last of which screened in the Midnight section at Sundance.
