Carol Green is an American assistant director and writer. A member of the Directors Guild of America since 1981, she began her career as a DGA trainee on films including *Tron* (1982) before working as second assistant director on features such as *Gremlins* (1984), *Pretty in Pink* (1986) and *Innerspace* (1987).

She has served as first assistant director on numerous television series, including ten episodes of *House* (2004–2005). Green also received a writing credit for the 2008 *House* episode "Adverse Events".
