Carol Oditz is an American costume designer. She was born on 15 August 1946 in New York City.

Oditz began her career in theatre, designing costumes for Broadway productions including *Monday After the Miracle* (1982), *Is There Life After High School?* (1982) and *Play Me a Country Song* (1982). She received a Drama Desk Award nomination for Outstanding Costume Design in 1977 for the Off-Broadway production *The Crazy Locomotive* and has also worked at regional theatres such as the Long Wharf Theatre.

Her film credits as costume designer include *Higher Learning* (1995), *Tin Cup* (1996), *The Ice Storm* (1997), *Autumn in New York* (2000), *Murder by Numbers* (2002), *The Break-Up* (2006) and *Take Me Home Tonight* (2011).
