## Biography

Carol Winstead Wood is a production designer, art director and illustrator. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Design from North Carolina State University’s School of Design and a BFA from East Carolina University. She began her career as an illustrator on the feature film *Touch and Go* (1986) after working with the multimedia company Jim Sant Andrea Productions.

Wood has contributed to more than 25 films. Her production design credits include *10 Things I Hate About You* (1999), *Prefontaine* (1997), *Honey, We Shrunk Ourselves* (1997) and *Dead Man on Campus* (1998). Earlier art direction work includes *Backdraft* (1991), *Frankie and Johnny* (1991) and *Little Monsters* (1989). Her peers nominated her for a Production Design Award of Excellence for the pilot of the series *Seven Days* (1998).
