Carole Ann Ford is an English actress. Born Carole Ann Lillian Higgins on 16 June 1940 in Ilford, Essex, she attended Barking Abbey Grammar School and began her career in theatre and early television appearances.

She is best known for playing Susan Foreman, the Doctor's granddaughter and one of the original companions, in the BBC series *Doctor Who* (1963–1964), with later reprises including *The Five Doctors* (1983) and a 2025 episode. Other credits include Bettina in *The Day of the Triffids* (1963), Valerie in *Whatever Happened to the Likely Lads?* (1973) and Joyce in *An Adventure in Space and Time* (2013).
