Carole Raphaelle Davis is an English-American actress, model, singer and writer. Born on 17 February 1958 in London, she grew up in several countries before moving to New York City as a teenager. She studied Chinese studies and political science at the City University of New York and trained at the Lee Strasberg Theater Institute.

Davis began her career in modelling, appearing in *Playboy* in 1978 and as Penthouse Pet of the Month in 1980 under the name Tamara Kapitas. Her first film role was in *Piranha II: The Spawning* (1982). She is known for her performance as Roxie Shield in *Mannequin* (1987) and for guest appearances in television series including *The A-Team* (1983), *Star Trek: Voyager* (1995), *Sex and the City* (1998), *Angel* (1999) and *2 Broke Girls* (2011). She also released the album *Heart of Gold* in 1989.
