Caroline de Vivaise is a French costume designer. She has worked in film since the late 1970s and is a close collaborator of director Patrice Chéreau. She has also worked with Claude Berri, Raúl Ruiz, Bertrand Tavernier, Jacques Audiard and others.

Her credits include *Tess* (1979), *Germinal* (1993), *Time Regained* (1999, nominated for a César), *Shadow of the Vampire* (2000), *Intimacy* (2001), *Gabrielle* (2005), *The Princess of Montpensier* (2010) and *Jappeloup* (2013). She has designed costumes for opera productions including several directed by Chéreau.

De Vivaise has won three César Awards for best costumes, for *Germinal* (1994), *Gabrielle* (2006) and *The Princess of Montpensier* (2011). She was appointed Officier des Arts et des Lettres in 2017 and Chevalier de l'ordre national du Mérite in 2024.
