## Biography

Caroline Rhea is a Canadian actress and stand-up comedian. Born on 13 April 1964 in Westmount, Quebec, she moved to New York in 1986 to pursue comedy, performing at clubs including Catch a Rising Star. She later relocated to Los Angeles for acting work.

Rhea is best known for playing Hilda Spellman in the series *Sabrina the Teenage Witch* (1996–2003) and voicing Linda Flynn-Fletcher in the Disney Channel animated series *Phineas and Ferb* (2007–). She hosted the syndicated talk show *The Caroline Rhea Show* (2002–2003) after replacing Rosie O'Donnell and was the original host of the reality series *The Biggest Loser* (2004–2006) for its first three seasons.

She has appeared in films including *Christmas with the Kranks* (2004) and *The Perfect Man* (2005), and in series such as *The Suite Life of Zack & Cody* (2005–2006) and *Sydney to the Max* (2019–2021). Rhea has also released stand-up specials for HBO, Showtime and Bravo.
