## Biography

Catherine Derry is a British cinematographer based in London and a member of the British Society of Cinematographers. She has more than 25 years of experience across features, high-end television drama, commercials, music videos and documentaries.

She began her career in motion control, progressing through the camera department to become a focus puller before establishing herself as a director of photography in the late 2000s. Her first feature was the BAFTA award-winning *Junkhearts* (2011).

Derry’s credits include the features *Been So Long* (2018), *Choose or Die* (2022) and *A Christmas Number One* (2021), and television series such as *Industry* (2020), *The Great* (2023), *A Thousand Blows* (2024) and *Hostage* (2025).
