## Biography

Cay Kristiansen was a Danish actor. He trained at the Royal Danish Theatre's drama school, graduating in 1952, and also received professional singing training. He appeared in stage productions and operas, including *Figaros Bryllup* at the Fynske Opera in Odense, and worked at major Danish theatres. He remained active on stage into his eighties.

Kristiansen appeared in a small number of films and television productions. He played Anders Borgen (uncredited) in Carl Theodor Dreyer's *Ordet* (1955) and Poul in Gabriel Axel's *Babette's Feast* (1987). Other credits include *The Girls Are Willing* (1958), *The Witch Hunt* (1981), the television series *Bryggeren* (1997) and *Just Like Home* (2007).
