## Biography

Chad L. Coleman is an American actor. He is known for his performances as Dennis 'Cutty' Wise in the HBO series *The Wire* (2004–2008) and Tyreese Williams in the AMC series *The Walking Dead* (2012–2015).

Coleman has appeared in films including *Horrible Bosses* (2011), *The Green Hornet* (2011) and *Copshop* (2021). He played Fred Johnson in the Syfy/Amazon series *The Expanse* (2015–2020) and Bruno Mannheim in *Superman & Lois* (2023–2024). In 2025 he portrayed boxing promoter Don King in the biographical sports drama *Christy*.

His stage work includes a Broadway production of August Wilson's *Joe Turner's Come and Gone*.
