Chafurin is a Japanese voice actor and narrator. Born Hirotaka Shimasawa on 4 December 1961 in Saitama, he graduated from Toyo University and is affiliated with the agency Office Osawa. He was previously credited under his real name or variations such as Hirotaka Shimasawa.

He is known for numerous anime voice roles, including Inspector Jūzō Megure in the long-running series *Detective Conan* (1996–) and its films, Saint Charlos in *One Piece* (1999–), Hitoshi Demegawa in *Death Note* (2006), and Teshigawara's Father in the film *Your Name.* (2016).
