Charles Dorat, also credited as Charles Goldblatt or Goldblat, was a French actor and screenwriter. Born in Paris on 21 January 1906, he began his film career in the early 1930s with supporting and uncredited roles.

His early credits include the uncredited part of a thief in Jean Vigo's *L'Atalante* (1934), Jacques in Julien Duvivier's *La Belle Équipe* (also known as *They Were Five*, 1936), and the rabbi Jacob in *The Golem* (1936). He also appeared as Inspector Michelet in *Panic* (1947).

Dorat later worked as a screenwriter and dialogue adapter, contributing to films such as *Deadlier Than the Male* (1956) and *Fever Mounts at El Pao* (1959). He died in Le Perreux-sur-Marne, France, in March 1997. His son Jean-Pierre Dorat is also an actor and dubbing director.
