## Biography

Charles Evans was an American film producer and businessman. He co-founded the women's clothing company Evan-Picone in 1949 with Joseph Picone and sold it to Revlon in 1962. He later established the Evans Partnership, a real estate development firm.

In film, Evans served as executive producer on *Tootsie* (1982) and produced *Monkey Shines* (1988) and *Showgirls* (1995). He was the brother of producer Robert Evans.
