## Biography

Charles Olivier is an American screenwriter, playwright, journalist and editor. Born in London, he grew up in England, Belgium, France and the United States, and studied at the University of Texas at Austin and New York University's Tisch School of the Arts.

He began his career in journalism with Agence France-Presse, Reuters and the Associated Press, and worked in theatre with director Robert Wilson. Olivier has written and edited numerous documentaries, including serving as editor on the series *The Jinx* (2015).

His credits include writing *Magic & Bird: A Courtship of Rivals* (2010) and editing *The Redeem Team* (2022) and *Surviving Ohio State* (2025). His work has received multiple Emmy Awards and a Peabody Award.
