## Biography

Charles Knox Robinson (also credited as Charles Robinson) was an American stage, film and television actor. Born in Orange, New Jersey, he appeared in over 80 films and television series between 1958 and 2001. He performed on Broadway in *Tall Story*, *The Pleasure of His Company* and *The Good Soup*.

His film roles include an uncredited part in *Splendor in the Grass* (1961), Nathan Anderson in *Shenandoah* (1965) and Ensign Bordelles in Robert Wise's *The Sand Pebbles* (1966). He also appeared in television series such as *The Munsters*, *Gunsmoke*, *Alfred Hitchcock Presents* and *Airwolf*. Robinson graduated Phi Beta Kappa and magna cum laude from Princeton University and served in the US Army. He was the cousin of actor Gerald S. O'Loughlin and was married to Joan Calistri from 1960 until her death in 2001. He died in Palm Springs, California, in 2006.
