## Biography

Charles S. Cohen is an American film producer and distributor. He is the founder of Cohen Media Group, established in 2008 to produce and distribute independent and art-house films, with a particular focus on French cinema in North America. The company also maintains a large collection of restored classic films.

Cohen has served as producer on *Operation Mincemeat* (2022) and *Hitchcock/Truffaut* (2015), and as executive producer on *Frozen River* (2008), *My Old Lady* (2014) and *Benji* (2018). He has held co-producer or executive producer credits on several other features, including *Faces Places* (2017) and *The Great Buster: A Celebration* (2018).

Before entering film, Cohen trained as a lawyer and expanded his family's real estate business in New York. He holds a B.A. from Tufts University and a J.D. from Brooklyn Law School.
