Charles Wain is an Australian composer. He is credited with the music for Peter Weir’s 1977 film *The Last Wave*, for which he received a nomination for Best Original Music Score at the Australian Film Institute Awards.

Wain had previously worked as a composer of television advertisements. He lived on an ashram as a devotee of the Hindu guru Baba Muktananda and cited the spiritual elements of the film and its locations as inspiration for the score, which incorporates synthesizers and manipulated didgeridoo. The name Charles Wain may be a pseudonym; he is registered with the Australasian Performing Right Association as Wain Myers.
