Charles Walters was an American film director and choreographer noted for his work on MGM musicals and comedies from the 1940s to the 1960s.

He began his career as a dancer and choreographer on Broadway before moving to MGM, where he staged dance sequences and later directed features. His directorial credits include *Easter Parade* (1948), *The Barkleys of Broadway* (1949), *Lili* (1953), *High Society* (1956), *Please Don't Eat the Daisies* (1960) and *The Unsinkable Molly Brown* (1964).

Walters received an Academy Award nomination for best director for *Lili*. He also directed *Walk Don't Run* (1966). He died in 1982.
