Charles Williams (born Isaac Cozerbreit) was a British composer and conductor. He was born in London on 8 May 1893 and died in Findon Valley, Worthing, on 7 September 1978. He studied composition at the Royal Academy of Music and began his career as a violinist before moving into film music.

From 1933 to 1939 he worked at Gaumont British Films as a composer. He contributed music to numerous British films, including *The Man Who Knew Too Much* (1934), *The Lady Vanishes* (1938) and *Night Train to Munich* (1940). Much of his film work was uncredited stock music. He also composed light orchestral pieces and conducted the Queen's Hall Light Orchestra after the Second World War.
