Charlie Sexton is an American actor and musician. Born Charles Wayne Sexton on 11 August 1968 in San Antonio, Texas, he began his career as a guitarist and singer, releasing his debut album *Pictures for Pleasure* in 1985 and later forming the band Arc Angels.

Sexton has appeared in several films and television series. He played Jimmy in Richard Linklater’s *Boyhood* (2014), Townes Van Zandt in *Blaze* (2018), Reverend Martin in the miniseries *The Good Lord Bird* (2020), and Bob in *Angels Sing* (2013). He has also contributed to soundtracks and performed in projects including *Thelma & Louise* (1991) and *Masked and Anonymous* (2003).

He has toured extensively with Bob Dylan and worked as a session musician and producer.
