## Biography

Charlotte Kaufman is an American actress, producer and cinematographer. She is the daughter of filmmaker Lloyd Kaufman, co-founder of Troma Entertainment.

She appeared in numerous Troma films from childhood onwards, including *The Toxic Avenger Part II* (1989), *Sgt. Kabukiman N.Y.P.D.* (1990), *Tromeo & Juliet* (1996), *Terror Firmer* (1999), *Citizen Toxie: The Toxic Avenger IV* (2001) and *Poultrygeist: Night of the Chicken Dead* (2006). She studied at Columbia University.

Kaufman has produced documentary series including *The Jinx: The Life and Deaths of Robert Durst* (2015) and its 2024 second season, for which she received a Primetime Emmy nomination. She produced, directed and wrote the documentary *The Alabama Solution* (2025), nominated for the Academy Award for Best Documentary Feature.
