## Biography

Charmaine DeGraté is an American screenwriter and producer. She graduated from Vassar College with a double major in political science and English literature, having spent summers as a Congressional intern in Washington, DC, and producing plays at the Powerhouse Theatre.

Her television writing credits include episodes of *The 100* (2014–2019), *House of the Dragon* (2022), *Daisy Jones & the Six* (2023) and *The Acolyte* (2024). She has also served as co-executive producer on *House of the Dragon* and *The Acolyte*, and as supervising producer on *The 100*. In 2025 she signed a first-look deal with Universal Television through her Crestview banner.

DeGraté received a Primetime Emmy nomination for outstanding limited or anthology series as part of the *Daisy Jones & the Six* team. She sits on the advisory board of the International Women in Media Foundation.
