Chet Brandenburg (born James Chester Brandenburg) was an American actor and stuntman. He appeared in hundreds of films and television programmes, mostly in uncredited roles, between 1924 and 1968.

Brandenburg was born on 15 October 1897 in Peoria, Illinois, and died on 17 July 1974 in Woodland Hills, California. He is buried in Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Hollywood Hills. His brother Ed Brandenburg was also an actor. Among his many credits are uncredited appearances in *Born Yesterday* (1950), *Singin' in the Rain* (1952), *The War of the Worlds* (1953), *Judgment at Nuremberg* (1961) and *The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance* (1962).
